The QSL would like to congratulate Al Rayyan on their success as QSL league champions. The Lions claimed their title after defeating Al Wakrah 5-0 on Saturday evening at Al Sadd stadium. Confirming their status as QSL champions for the first time since the 1994/1995 season.

Jorge Fossati’s underlined their championship credentials over the course of the season, and have only lost one game so far this season, winning the rest.

QSL’s Chief Executive Officer Mr Hani Ballan was eager to complement Al Rayyan’s stunning return to the QSL. “Everyone at the Qatar Stars League would like to congratulate Al Rayyan on securing the QSL title. Especially to the hard work of the players, staff and of course fans who have cheered their side to the title.”
