The Qatar Stars League has formally announced the fixtures for the final round of the 2016/2017 season. Matches are set to take place over Friday the 14th of April and Saturday the 15th of April. All games will K.O at 18:20 pm to ensure fair play for all sides.
 
On Friday, four games will kick off at 18:20pm involving sides who could finish eleventh in the standings and be involved in a relegation play-off with Qatar SC the second placed side in the Qatar Gas League. Al Sailiya will face Al Wakrah at Arabi stadium; Al Rayyan will face Al Khor at Al Sadd stadium. Umm Salal will take on Al Arabi, who are still in danger of dropping into the relegation play-off will play each other at Qatar SC stadium, whilst Al Ahli will face already relegated Muaither at Ahli stadium.
 
On Saturday three games will take place with the early 18:20 KO to round off the 2016/2017 QSL season. Al Sadd will take on El Jaish in what will be an early dress rehearsal for the Qatar Cup, with the tie taking place at Al Sadd stadium. Al Kharaitiyat will be looking to maintain their form in the league when they take on fifth place Al Gharafa with the tie set to take place at Al Khor stadium.
 
The QSL season will then come to a close with champions Lekhwiya set to lift the coveted QSL falcon shield after their match against already relegated Al Shahania. The tie has been switched to Lekhwiya stadium at the request of the league leaders.
