In February and March 2015, the Qatar Stars League and Qatar Airways launched a competition for two lucky fans to win a trip to watch F.C .Barcelona play at Camp Nou. The winners were chosen at random and Qatar Stars League fans Soyeon Park and Rakesh Kumar were the lucky winners.

Thanks to the Qatar Stars League’s loyalty programme, Football Rewards and Qatar Airways, the winners Rakesh and Soyeon each received two return flight tickets from Doha to Barcelona along with two VIP match tickets to watch FC Barcelona. 



Rakesh, a loyal Al Sadd fan, was extremely ecstatic to have received the prize. He said: ‘It was a trip of a lifetime to see Neymar and Pedro score goals at their home ground, Camp Nou, where the atmosphere was like a carnival. I look forward to more Qatar Stars League action next season, especially watching FC Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez play for my team!’ 

Qatar Sports Club fan Soyeon, also had a fantastic time watching FC Barcelona play in Camp Nou. She said: ‘I loved the VIP seats that gave me the chance to watch Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar up close. I also found that Barcelona had great weather and great food!  I am sincerely grateful to the Qatar Stars League and Qatar Airways for giving me this opportunity.’
