The Qatar National Team welcomed Bayern Munchen back to Qatar for their winter training camp from 10th January 2015, during a press conference held at the Grand Heritage Hotel, Aspire Academy, Qatar, on Saturday 10th January 2015.
The press conference was attended by Mr Mansoor Al –Ansari, Executive Director National Teams Department, Qatar National Team, and Pep Guardiola, Head Coach, Bayern Munchen.
After welcoming Bayern Munchen back to Qatar, Mansour Al–Ansari, Executive Director National Teams Department, QFA took the opportunity to thank Volkswagen Group for their continued support, “Volkswagen has been a committed partner in organising the camp here in Qatar with the Qatar Football Association and Aspire Sport Foundation.”
He then went on to discuss the ongoing relationship between the Qatar National Team and FC Bayern Munchen, “Qatar Football likes to build a lot of relationships with football entities globally – FC Bayern Munchen is one of the top clubs in the World and are well renowned for their management along with their team and results across the board.
The Qatar Football Family supports and embraces the FC Bayern Munchen Camp annually and gives thanks to the on-going support of the Qatar Stars League and the Aspire Academy as we have seen the consistent return on the FC Bayern Munchen relationship over the last five years.”
During their stay in Qatar, FC Bayern Munched will also take part in a friendly match against the Qatar Stars Team on Tuesday, 13 January at 20:00 in Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium.
A large number of spectators from across the region are expected to attend the match eager for the chance to see the Bayern Munchen internationals as well as the stars players from Qatar Stars League.
Tickets are 50QAR and 100 QAR.

Remaining tickets will be available on match day from 2pm at Lekhwiya Stadium.
