This year should be one of the most exciting years on record for the Qatar Stars League,  reigning QSL champions Al Rayyan will be looking to securing back to back title wins after lifting the falcon shield for the first time in twenty one years .

Al Arabi have signed a host of big name stars, which will be of interest to fans of The Dream Team. Lekhwiya will be hoping for another title winning season after picking up deadly striker Yusef El Arabi.

El Jaish will be having aspirations of lifting their first ever QSL title after an impressive second place finish last season. Likewise Al Ahli, Umm Salal and Al Sailiya will be hopeful to pull out some shock results and push into the top four picture.

Four teams are set to be relegated this season, which will almost certainly involve last minute drama at both ends of the table. Can the likes of Muaither, Al Shahania,  Al Khor and Al Kharaitiyat avoid the drop down to the Qatar Gas League?
 
Regardless of the outcome expect another fantastic season of QSL football, which will be crammed full of thrills and spills and fantastic goals.
