Qatar Stars League Management issued the match schedule of the remaining league rounds for the sports season 2014/2015.The League second stage already commenced with both rounds 14 and 15 fixture before the league stoppage on 20 December2014 due to the preparations of Qatar National Team for AFC Asian Cup 2015.
QSL round 16 fixtures to be played on the 5th of Feb 2015 after the AFC Asian Cup on 31 Jan 2015.
QSLM also took into consideration the participation in AFC Champions League by Lekhwiya, El Jaish and Al-Sadd as well as the participation of Al-Arabi in the GCC Club Championship.
According to the match schedule announced by QSLM, the league will have another stoppage period during March due to the participation of Qatar National Team in two friendlies within the preparations for the FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
All rounds fixtures to be played on several days with exception for both rounds 25 and 26 (second last and last) according to the principal of equal opportunities between all teams to settle both the title and the bottom of the table struggle.
Round 16 fixtures will commence on 06 Feb 2015 with the matches Al-Sadd vs Al-Wakra , Al-Sailiyah vs Qatar and Al-Khor vs Al-Ahli, while on 07 Feb 2015 the matches Umm Salal vs Al-Shamal, Al-Gharafa vs Lekhwiya, Al-Kharaityat vs Al-Shahania and Al-Arabi vs El Jaish.
Round 17 fixtures to played on 12, 13, 14 Feb which is one of three rounds to played on three days, in addition to Round 18 on 19, 20, 21 Feb and Round 23 on 20, 21, 22 March.
Round 19 fixtures to be played on 27, 28 Feb. Round 20 fixtures to be played on 06, 07 March. Round 21 matches to be played on 10, 11 March. Round 22 fixtures to be played on 14, 15 March. Round 24 fixtures to be played on 03, 04 April.
QSLM also determined the dates 10, 11, 12 April, to choose only one of them for Round 25 fixtures, while the final Round 26 fixtures to be played on 16 April 2015.
