Qatar Sports Club are set to be without central defender Ismail Belmaalem for a month, after injuring a ligament in his thigh in his sides 2-1 defeat to Al Kharaitiyat on Saturday. The club has announced he is set to be out for a month allowing for a full rehab of the injury. 

Belmaalem now joins long term absentee Rafik Halliche on the medical table for the Kings. Qatar Sports club face Lekhwiya in round two of the Qatar Stars League.
