As part of Qatar Sports Club’s preparations for the QSL Round 9 fixture against Al Rayyan next Sunday at Al Sadd Stadium, the Kings chose to play a friendly against Qatar Gas League team Al Shamal.

QSC defeated Shamal 1-0 with the only goal of the game scored by striker Fadl Omar during the second half. 

The technical staff led by Lazaroni sought to keep the players match fit by playing the friendly in order to improve their position in the table. The Kings are currently one place off the bottom with only four points this season.

QSC have lost six matches and will hoping to stop the slide but it will very tough as they are facing the league in-form team – Al Rayyan.

Qatar Sports Club lost their Round 8 game to Al Khor 2-1.
