QSL outfit Qatar Sports Club ramped up their preparations for the second half of the season defeating Sudanese Club Al Merrikh 1-0 on Tuesday evening.<br />

The only goal of the tie was scored by Kings Player Abdel Aziz Adel. QSC head coach Sebastião Lazaroni elected to use a mixture of youth and experienced players.<br />
<br />
QSC will now resume their preparations within their closed training camp in Doha. The Kings will face Al Arabi on Thursday the 28<sup>th</sup> of January 2016, at the resumption of the QSL season, after a three week break for the AFC U23 championships being held in Doha.<br />
