Qatar Sports Club has announced that their head coach Radi Shneshel will take over the Iraqi National Team during the 2015 AFC Asian Cup and willl then return back to his club.

Qatar Sports Club said in a statement on their website:
"With the spirit of sincere cooperation in the Arab sports World, which we hope will lead to friendly ties between the Arab people, the Qatar Sports Club Board decided to accept the request of the Iraq Football Association to loan Qatar Sports Club Head Coach Radi Shneshel so that he can assume the position of the of Iraq National Team Head Coach on a temporary basis for their participation in AFC Asian Cup in Australia from 09/01/2015 to 31/01/2015."

"Qatar Sports Club is keen to aid the Iraqi National Team and we hope they have a great competition and honor the Arabian football world, we wish them all the best."
