Fit Ahli squad ready for Umm Salal test
 
Eleventh placed Al Ahli take on fifth placed Umm Salal at the Ahli stadium on Saturday evening.
 
Al Ahli are looking to get all three point from this game so that they pull away from the relegation fight and secure their presence in next seasons QSL.  Ahli are currently are on twenty-two points, which leaves them only two points clear of the drop zone.
 
Yousef Adam, the head coach of Al Ahli, is wary of the threat that Umm Salal possess. “The preparation for this week is very high, every team has its own prep but we have to make sure we are on top of our game.”
 
 Adam also talked about the disappointment of losing to Al Sailiya in their last game, “Umm Salal is an important match for us as we are facing a team that is doing better than us this season. We know the situation we have in our team and we didn’t get good result in the last game.”
 
Al Ahli didn’t have many of their key players in the last game but Yousef Adam has assured us that he has a full squad at his disposal. “It’s our first game to play with full squad, we missed many chances in the last game and we hope we can come strong in this match,” added the Qatari tactician.
 


 
Umm Salal currently sit fifth in the QSL standings with thirty-two points from twenty-one games. After two draws in their last two matches the Orange Fortress will be keen to get back to winning ways against Al Ahli.
 
Bulent Uygun, the head coach of Umm Salal was pleased with the point his side got against Lekhwiya, “Our last game was good because we had many inexperienced players but we came up with an important point for us. Let’s hope this game against Umm Salal can give us a positive result.”
 
Speaking of his teams unpredictable results he said that, “Sometimes if we don’t get result it can make problems, we have many injuries and if we play with heart we can win,” added the Turkish tactician.
 
“Al Ahli is having some problems now but we must respect them because they have great history,” said Uygun on Thursday.
 
Umm Salal like many other teams at this stage of the season is suffering with injuries, “In football sometimes you face injuries in long periods. However I guarantee you that all players will give everything they have, we have a spirit and the ambition to succeed,” added the forty-four year old
