Al Sailiya has moved quickly in the January transfer window to secure the services of promising Al Rayyan midfielder Hamad Al-Obeidi.The young midfielder has already joined up with the squad, who are preparing for their tie with El Jaish in round 15 of the Qatar Stars League. Sailiya are currently in seventh place in the QSL, and are finding their feet in the league after a sluggish start domestically.
Head coach Sami Trabelsi also stressed that business is still to be done for his side, who could break into the top four picture if they can continue their good run of form. “We are still to confirm that both Sayaf Al-Korbi & Abdulkarim Al-Ali will continue with us for the rest of the season. Hopefully we will speak with Al Rayyan soon about this.”
Al Sailiya will face El Jaish at Al Gharafa stadium, kick off at 18:45 on Sunday the 3rd of January.
