Qatar SC seek less drama and more stability in their Qatar Stars League (QSL) clash against Al Gharafa on Wednesday, coach Sebastiao Lazaroni said on Monday.

Lazaroni was welcomed back into Qatar SC fold with two heavy last month defeats but the Brazilian orchestrated a mini-revival with an upset 1-0 win over second-placed El jaish on Saturday.

"This is a big game but we must continue to play with the concentration that we showed in the last game," Lazaroni said on Monday. "For us, it's a challenge to show that we can build on the momentum from the win against El Jaish.

"The challenge continues. We are looking for a chance to repeat or increase our level in this game. It's a tough game but it's a great opportunity to show our level of improvement," Lazaroni said.

"We have to play compact and play well even without the ball. This way we can find solutions and get results in the game. Al Gharafa is a good club. A few years ago they were the base of the national team.

They have good professional players," Lazaroni said.

Lazaroni said his 13th-placed side has to go one step at a time.

"We are trying to to get confident game by game. Last week we worked on many aspects - physical, tactical and emotional. It's important to be competitive," Lazaroni said.

"We had played two matches without organisation and the results reflected that. We have worked on giving confidence to the players,"
Lazaroni said.

Lazaroni, who has coached Qatar SC since 2008 with breaks, said his players must recover quickly

"The next game will be a challenge because we don't have too much gap between two matches. We will need to recover well and prepare well for the next game. We will need to give our 110 per cent  in this game,"
Lazaroni said.

"We now have another opportunity to write a good chapter in our books with another strong performance where we can play with concentration and team spirit.

"The most important is our team managed to keep the concentration for the entire 100 minutes in the last game," he said.

Al Gharafa interim coach Habib Sadeq said Qatar SC seemed to be a side gaining in confidence during their win over El Jaish.

"We know we are playing a team that's coming from a big win. They will be motivated and have lots of confidence going into this match," Sadeq said on Monday. "The reaction of Qatar SC was good and we need to be careful when we play against them.

"We are also looking to put our last result behind us. We are confident in our players and despite not having a lot of time to prepare for this game, we have done our best to get the players ready," Al Gharafa coach said about his side's loss to Al Rayyan on Saturday.

"(Alain) Dioko is injured and he needed time to come back. We think that he will help us a lot in the future when he has recovered completely," Sadeq said.

When asked about the rising number of mistakes costing the side, Sadeq said it was wrong to blame individuals for a loss.

"The goalkeeper is only one member of the team. Players make mistake, they are only human. But when mistakes increase, that can affect his confidence a lot. Players are talking to him and helping him. Qasem Burhan is a talented goalkeeper and we cannot judge him based on one bad result," Sadeq said.

"In the game against Al Rayyan, statistically we were good in defence.
Al Rayyan had only two shots on target and they scored off them. It was the individual quality that helped Al Rayyan. Our players put in a good performance but individual quality of players like Rodrigo Tabata swung the game in Rayyan's favour," Sadeq pointed out.

"At the beginning to the season we had success in the attack line. We scored a lot but then we had problems with injuries. Also some teams we played against were stronger and better than us," he added.

The round 12 clash starts at 16:00 at Al Sadd Stadium.
