Al Rayyan’s Abdullah Taleb Ofaifah underwent cruciate ligament knee surgery in Aspetar. The operation was successful.<br />

The player suffered the injury during training in Doha as the team carried out their preseason preparations.<br />

The Club Vice President Rashed Al Khalifa was keen to visit the player in his room in Aspetar following the surgery in order to motivate and support the player.<br />
 <br />
Ofaifah played for Al Sailiya during the previous season 2014/2015 on loan basis before returning to his home club of Al Rayyan.
