Al Rayyan’s Abdullah Taleb Ofaifah underwent cruciate ligament knee surgery in Aspetar. The operation was successful.
 
The player suffered the injury during training in Doha as the team carried out their preseason preparations.
 
The Club Vice President Rashed Al Khalifa was keen to visit the player in his room in Aspetar following the surgery in order to motivate and support the player.
 
Ofaifah played for Al Sailiya during the previous season 2014/2015 on loan basis before returning to his home club of Al Rayyan.
