El Jaish head coach Sabri Lamouchi has been awarded the QSL coach of the month award for November. The French tactician picked up the award on Tuesday evening at El Jaish’s training ground.
The two time Qatar Cup winners enjoyed a undefeated November picking up nine points from their three games, pulling away with a four point lead at the top of the table. In front of goal, the Soldiers notched a impressive ten goals in just three matches including an impressive six goal haul against Al Sailiya.
November started with the topsy turvey 6-4 win over Al Sailiya, which is the highest scoring game in the QSL so far this season. Whilst a 3-1 win over Al Shahania followed, thanks in part to a brace from Brazilian striker Romarinho. The final game of November was a narrow 1-0 win over Al Kharaitiyat. November proved to be a good month for the boys in white, especially with all their major titles rivals faltered.
Sabri Lamouchi will now be targeting further victories as the busy December schedule starts heading into the second half of the season. The French coach will be hoping his side can pull away a seven point lead at the top of the QSL standings when they take on second placed Lekhwiya in round ten of the QSL season.
