Al Ahli fought back from a two-goal deficit to earn a 2-2 draw against Al Gharafa in Week 7 of 2026-2027 Doha Bank Stars League at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium on Thursday.

The hosts raced into a two-goal lead before half-time.

Seydou Sano opened the scoring in the 13th minute, assisted by Ismael Bennacer, before Yacine Brahimi doubled the advantage in the 36th minute with a well-worked finish from Adam Ounas’ pass.

Al Ahli responded strongly after the break.

Erik Exposito pulled one back in the 52nd minute, set up by Naim Sliti.

Despite Al Gharafa’s efforts to hold on, Sliti struck deep into stoppage time (90+3 minute) to level the scores, with Luiz Martin providing the assist.

The result lifted Al Ahli to eight points, while Al Gharafa moved on to six.
