Umm Salal coach Patrice Carteron spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 6 match against Al Wakrah.

“The match against Al Wakrah will be tough and we are well aware that they are a team with great potential. We will enter the match with great confidence, which will give us the ability to achieve victory, even though we have previously faced some difficulties against Al Wakrah.

“The recent victory over Al Sailiya was of great importance in restoring confidence. We had played strong matches against Al Duhail, Al Gharafa and Al Arabi, and deserved to have more points. However, the victory over Al Sailiya gave the team a great morale boost and I hope that this would translate into a series of positive results,” said Carteron.

Umm Salal player Oussama Tannane said, “The team enters the match against Al Wakrah with great ambition to secure the three points.
