Al Duhail coach Djamel Belmadi spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 5 match against Al Arabi.

“Of course, the match against Al Arabi will be difficult and we must first forget the AFC Champions League Elite match and focus fully on the league match against Al Arabi.

“We greatly respect the Al Arabi team and are aware of their capabilities. Our goal is to perform at a high level and show high spirits to win this match,” said Belmadi.

Al Duhail player Yousef Ayman said, “Al Arabi are a big team and we must respect all our opponents. Al Arabi have highly-skilled strikers especially and they also have a strong team this season. We will work hard to keep a clean sheet, starting with the next match, after we recently suffered from some goals that we were not accustomed to conceding.”
