Al Ahli coach Igor Biscan spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 4 match against Al Wakrah.

“The result Al Ahli are looking to achieve is the most important for the team this season, given the struggles we have endured in the previous three rounds. We feel the need to win, so we will exert all our efforts against Al Wakrah.

“I have confidence in the players’ ability to achieve victory. The opponents are a strong team and everyone is aware of that, but we must exert more effort to achieve the desired result, especially since the team’s situation requires the best technical performance to secure points,” said Biscan.

Al Ahli player Amin Tihi said, “The match against Al Wakrah will be different for us, as players. The previous rounds did not show the team’s full technical strength to secure victory, but we are determined to exert all our efforts on the field to secure points.

“We do not deserve to be in this position, but in football, results occur that players do not want and we must be convinced of the need to change them to results that satisfy the club’s fans.”
