Al Rayyan coach Arthur Jorge spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 1 match against Al Sailiya.

“We have only one path to achieving our goals. The beginning is always difficult and I am very happy with what the team has achieved during the training camp. Everyone is ready for the start of the league and our goal is to get the three points.

“We will give 100 per cent of our efforts and try to compete for titles this season. We seek to please our fans and we invite them to come and support the team because we will be stronger with them,” said Arthur Jorge.

Al Rayyan captain Abdelaziz Hatem said, “The players are eager for the start of the league. The beginning is always difficult. Our goal is three points to get off to a good start. The match against Al Sailiya is not easy and all league matches are strong, so we focus on ourselves and respect all teams.”
