Al Gharafa coach Pedro Martins and player Yacine Brahimi spoke to the media ahead of their Qatar Cup 2025 semifinal against Al Duhail, at the Qatar Stars League Headquarters in Al Bidda Tower on Monday, April 21, 2025.

“We have an important and strong match ahead of us. It is a knockout and only the winning team will qualify for the final to face the winners of Al Sadd vs Al Ahli match. All the players are in good condition and ready for this important match for us.

“We will do our best to win and qualify for the final. We will also try to improve ourselves. We lost our last match against Al Shahania in the league championship, and we are striving to improve in the Qatar Cup match to maintain our chances of qualifying for the final.

“We were close to competing for the league title, but we did not achieve it. I congratulate Al Sadd on winning the championship. Our goal is to win titles for the club.

“We are focusing on Al Duhail’s style of play and studying it carefully to deliver the best possible performance. Our opponents are a very strong and distinguished team, and we will be fully prepared to play the match with all our strength.

“I expects great support from Al Gharafa fans in the upcoming match against Al Duhail, especially since the fans are very important in helping boosting the morale of the players to win the championship,” said Martins.
