Al Rayyan coach Artur Jorge spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 22 match against Qatar SC.

“We are preparing for this match with the same intensity as our previous matches. We know that this is our last match in the league. We must continue with what we did in the last match to see the team's character, because we are competing for fifth place. When we return to the beginning of the season, this is not the position we had hoped for, but at this moment, it is the best position we can achieve, and it is very important that we give our all.

“There is no easy match and we treat all our opponents equally. We must focus on ourselves and finish the league with a victory,” said Artur Jorge.

Al Rayyan player Roger Guedes said, “Our preparations are as good as any previous match. Fifth place was not our ambition, but that is what we are playing for now, and this match could be a preparation for the Amir Cup.

“Regarding my position as the top scorer, I would say that this is one of my personal goals, but more important are the team’s goals, as we were unable to win the league.”
