Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 22 match against Al Rayyan.
“Our match against Al Shahania in the last round was important and everyone was determined to win, but we ended up with a draw. We performed well and created many chances, but we were unable to score more. We hope to perform well in our next match against Al Rayyan and secure victory.
“Our match against Al Rayyan will be difficult, especially since they have distinguished players, most notably Guedes, the league’s top scorer. They are also a team with a large fan base. We know that this match will be difficult and important for both teams, but we are looking forward to winning and securing the three points.
“We must be more effective in front of the goal to convert opportunities into goals. Several players will miss this match due to injury, including Ibrahim Majed, Javi and Ahmed Abdelqader,” said Safri.
Qatar SC player Moataz Majed said, “We have prepared adequately for the match against Al Rayyan.
“Our match against Al Rayyan will not be easy, but we have a goal to improve our position at the end of the league. Getting three points is very important for us and we hope to succeed in achieving that.”
