Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 22 match against Al Wakrah.

“We are in for a tough match against a very good team with highly-skilled players, led by competent technical staff.

“We also have highly-skilled players and are ambitious to win and collect the three points in order to achieve the best possible finish in the league and secure the highest ranking in the league table.

“Victory will be the team’s goal to make up for the loss to Al Rayyan in the previous round and we are looking forward to a good finish in the league,” said Prats.

Al Shamal player Nasser Al Nasr said, “It will not be an easy match. We will face a strong team with highly-capable players and we must be prepared to face them as required.

“We are looking forward to winning and securing the best position in the league table in the final round, which will only be achieved by doing our utmost to achieve our desired goal.”
