Qatar SC and Al Shahania played out a 1-1 draw in Week 21 of the 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar SC on Friday.

Sebastian Soria scored the equalizer for The Kings in the 38th minute after Pelle van Amersfoort had provided Al Shahania with the lead in the 17th minute.

The result saw Qatar SC’s points tally move to 23 points, while Al Shahania went up to 24 points.

The opening half was quite exciting as both teams played attacking football and also reaped results.

Al Shahania made a move from the right making inroads and Alhassan Koroma relayed the ball back to Van Amersfoort who lunged to make a fine right-footed strike into the right corner of the net.

Qatar SC drew parity with their South African forward Percy Tau catching a long lob inside the box and beating defenders before providing a fine ball for Soria to strike past a diving goalkeeper to the cheer of fans at the stadium.

Both teams tightened their defence in the second half and the deadlock remained till the end.
