Al Duhail coach Christophe Galtier spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 19 match against Al Gharafa.

“There was a long break of approximately 20 days. I appreciate the players' efforts during recent training, both tactically and physically. During the break, we played a friendly match to maintain the spirit of competition among the players.

“Of course, we are happy to have all the international players back without any injuries. We will try to perform as required to win the match. Al Gharafa is a distinguished team with high-level players such as Sassi and Yacine Brahimi, but we are well prepared.

“I am not focused on the remaining matches. We are currently focused on the match against Al Gharafa. We are preparing for this match with clear objectives, and that is the most important thing at the moment,” said Galtier.

Al Duhail player Karim Boudiaf said, “Of course, the coach summed it all up when he talked about facing Al Gharafa. The upcoming match is very important and the team is ready physically and mentally. We are trying to give everything we have on the pitch against a distinguished team that has great players and capabilities. We are focusing on ourselves in the remaining matches, which are very difficult.”
