Umm Salal coach Patrice Beaumelle spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 19 match against Al Khor.
“The recent break was very beneficial for the team, as we played two tough matches, one of which was against league leaders Al Duhail, which was a real test in which the players regained their fighting spirit and excellent performance. The technical staff also used this period to correct mistakes and ensure the readiness of all players.
“The match against Al Khor represents a very important starting point for us, and we are striving to achieve victory because we are capable of doing so,” said Beaumelle.
Umm Salal player Abdulrahman Fayez Al Rashidi said, “The match against Al Khor is a cup final for us, we will enter the match with high fighting spirit and a strong desire to secure the three points.
“The team benefited from the break, which included friendly matches that helped us correct mistakes, thus enhancing our preparedness. We will strive to perform differently in the match to come out of the danger zone and achieve a positive result.”
