Al Rayyan will play away against Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia in the second leg of 2024-2025 season AFC Champions League Elite Round of 16 on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. The kick-off is at 11pm.

Al Rayyan seek to win and qualify for the quarterfinals after losing the first-leg match 1-3 at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.

Al Rayyan are coming from a victory in Week 18 of Ooredoo Stars League against Al Khor by a 5-1 margin.

Al Ahli will also be looking to qualify for the next round, so it is a foregone conclusion that it is a keenly-contested affair.

Al Rayyan had finished the West Zone league stage in seventh place with eight points (two wins, as many draws and four defeats).

Al Ahli had ended up the league stage in second place with 22 points, the same as Al Hilal but behind on goal difference. They recorded seven wins and one draw.

It may be noted that both teams had faced off in the league stage in third round at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium and Al Rayyan lost 1-2.
