Al Gharafa coach Pedro Martins spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 16 match against Qatar SC.

“We don't have much time in light of our team's participation in many competitions because we play in the best tournaments and this is good for the club, the players, and everyone, this is our match schedule and we are ready for it, we prepare the team for such circumstances.

“In the last three matches, the competitor Qatar SC won. We respect them, as they have very good players who they used during the January transfer period. It will be an important and difficult match for us and I think it will be very good from both sides.

“Joselu will be absent due to suspension, while the rest of the players are 100 per cent ready for the match,” said Martins.

Al Gharafa player Ibrahim Tamer said, “We did not have enough time to prepare for this match, but we are ready and our goal is to win the three points.

“It will be a difficult match against a team that has been developing well in recent matches, and from our side our goal is clear, which is to win.

“We thank our fans for their support of the team and hope that it would continue, especially since the journey is still long.”
