Al Rayyan coach Artur Jorje spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 13 match against Al Duhail.

“We have an important match and everyone knows its importance. It is against one of the best teams in the season and we must enter the match with the ambition to win. This match is a challenge for us.

“The team has a clear goal, which is to win all matches. The upcoming matches are the most important for the team this season to motivate the players. We have to turn difficulties into motivation for us.

“I urge our fans to attend the match and support the team. They have the most prominent role in the match and without them the team will not be able to achieve victory,” said Artur Jorje.

Al Rayyan player Hazem Ahmed said, “The players are ready for this match, and the technical staff, after losing in the Challenge Shield in Qatar-UAE Super Cup, asked us to forget the loss, and we do not have time to stumble again. We are ready and the players are highly focused.

“After the victory over Umm Salal at the beginning of second half, we seek to continue and our ambition is to win. We do not have time to stumble, and the coach has instilled in the players the mentality of winning in all matches, whether against a team at the bottom of the standings or leaders Al Duhail.
