Al Sadd will meet Qatar SC in Week 13 of the 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium of Al Sadd club on Thursday, January 23, 2025. The kick-off is at 4.30pm.

The result of the match will be of great importance to both teams as Al Sadd seek to continue their forward march after a 1-0 win over Al Shamal at the start of the second half of league championship, while Qatar SC would be keen to do their best and gain a positive result against the defending champions in a bid to improve their position in the standings.

Al Sadd are currently in second place in the standings with 25 points, having won eight matches so far, losing three and drawing one against Al Ahli. The Wolves are three points adrift of leaders Al Duhail after 12 rounds of the 22-week competition.

Qatar SC, meanwhile, are in 11th and penultimate place in the standings with 10 points from three wins, eight losses and one draw, and the team is in dire need of collecting as many points as possible to improve their position.

The result of the first-leg match between Al Sadd and Qatar SC had seen Al Sadd win 5-1 at the Khalifa International Stadium.

Al Sadd, however, recently lost 0-1 to Al Wasl in the Qatar-UAE Super Shield contest.

On the other hand, Qatar SC had lost 1-5 to Al Nasr in Qatar-UAE Super Cup.

Both Al Sadd and Qatar SC, despite the contrast in their stature and standings, would go into the clash gunning for victory.
