Al Khor coach Mehdi Nafti spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 12 match against Al Gharafa.

“Our preparations were good and we worked hard to strengthen all technical, physical and tactical aspects and the players did a great job during this period, and I think that all the players are ready for our strong match against Al Gharafa.

“I do not look at the standings now, we may be behind, but we are working hard to get out of this zone and I have full confidence in all the players.

“We are still in the transfer period and we are working hard to strengthen the team’s ranks, whether with local players or foreign professionals, and the management does not spare anything to support the team to appear in the best way. Our ranks are complete and we will play with all our strength to come out with a positive result against Al Gharafa,” said Mehdi Nafti.

Al Khor player Abdulaziz Hazaa said, “Our preparations were excellent and we know that Al Gharafa’s attack is strong, but they must know that we have a strong team as well.

“Our start to the league was not as required, but after the changes we can see that we have presented distinctive levels, and the Al Duhail match is an example, which we have built on to always appear in the required image. We are determined to appear in the best image and collect the three points in the Al Gharafa match.”
