Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 8 match against Al Arabi.
“First, I would like to thank the players for the great effort they made in the previous match against Al Wakrah. We played well throughout the match and achieved an important victory at an important time.
“A difficult and strong match awaits us against Al Arabi. We look forward to winning it and collecting the three points and continuing the victories in the league.
“The match will be difficult for both teams and I believe that the most focused team will achieve victory and decide the match.
“I trust the players’ abilities and I believe that we are able to achieve victory in view of the tremendous effort made by the team. I believe that we deserve a better position than the one the team is currently in, and this requires continuing to work and do our best in every match we play.
“My goal as a coach is in line with the goals of the management and players, which is to move forward, and I see that we are on an upward trajectory, but our current focus is on winning our next match against Al Arabi. I hope that we succeed and decide it successfully and that the three points will be ours,” said Safri.
Qatar SC player Ali Malallah said, “The match in the Ooredoo Stars League against Al Arabi will not be easy, but we aspire to win and collect the three points.
“We are happy to achieve victory in the last match and we seek to continue the victories.
“A strong match awaits us against Al Arabi, whose recent results do not reflect the capabilities of their players, so we must do our best in order to achieve victory in this difficult match.
“We must maintain the team’s collective work and avoid individual mistakes and hold together in the appropriate manner that guarantees us victory and adding three new points.”
