Al Shahania and Al Ahli will open the fourth round matches in Group A of the 2024-2025 season QSL Cup at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar SC on Friday, October 11, 2024. The kick-off is at 5.45pm.

Group A also includes Al Duhail, Al Rayyan, Qatar SC and Al Arabi.

Both Al Shahania and Al Ahli would seek a positive result to improve their position in the group standings which is led by Al Duhail with full marks of nine points from three matches. Al Shahania are in the sixth and last place with a solitary point from a draw, while Al Ahli are fourth with three points.

Each of them will try to achieve victory in an effort to advance and improve their results. Al Shahania, who suffered a loss to Al Arabi in the last round, aim to win and raise their tally and at the same time provide the best to benefit from the tournament.

As for Al Ahli, led by Croatian coach Igor Biscan, have so far won only one match in the tournament. They will seek to overcome Al Shahania, despite knowing the strength of the rivals and their desire to improve their position.

Hence, the match is expected be very competitive and intense between these two sides - with both eagerly seeking victory to obtain the three valuable points to keep their chances of qualifying for the quarterfinals alive.
