Al Ahli coach Igor Biscan spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 3 match against Al Khor.

“We showed a distinguished level against Al Gharafa in the last round and deserved to win. It will be an incentive for the players to continue their good performance and collect points.

‘The match will not be easy against Al Khor, considered as one of the top teams and have played two matches where they did not lose, so we will work to ensure that Al Ahli are ready and at the best level of focus. I respect the competitor on the field and we will play to achieve our goal, which is to win the match and collect points.

“I am aware of the difficulty of all matches, so I am working to develop the team from one match to another,” said Biscan.

Al Ahli player Islam Al Sharif said, “The Al Khor match will not be easy and they are an organized team and they must be more focused to collect points.

“The victory we achieved over Al Gharafa in the last round gives us a great incentive to achieve more victories and gain points. We, as players, realize the difficulty of matches, but we have prepared well for them.”
