Qatar SC coach Yousef Al Noubi spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 3 match against Al Shamal.

“We are ready to meet Al Shamal and we hope that the team will appear better than we did in the first two matches.

“The ranks have become complete after contracting with professional player Ahmed Abdel Kader, whom we wish success with the team, and we hope that the team as a whole will appear in a good way and return to its normal level.

“It will not be an easy match, especially since it is a good team, but I trust the capabilities of Qatar SC players and we hope that this match will be a new start for the team in the league championship.

“I urge players to give their best and do their utmost to achieve a positive result that satisfies the fans, stressing the importance of teamwork and cooperation on the field to achieve this,” said Al Noubi.

Qatar SC player Jassim Al Jalabi said, “The match against Al Shamal in the third round is an opportunity for the players to compensate for our fans for the first two losses in the tournament against Al Duhail and Al Sadd.

“We prepared for the match against Al Shamal in the required manner and we look forward to achieving a good result that compensates for our loss in the first two rounds. As players at Qatar SC, we are not satisfied with the result of the first two matches, but we will work to compensate for that and we promise our fans to do our best in order to appear in a better way, especially since we finished last season as runners-up in the Amir Cup.

“We know that the fans of Qatar SC are not satisfied with the result of the first two matches, but we promise them to do better in the upcoming matches, starting with our match against Al Shamal.”
