Qatar SC coach Helio Sousa spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 15 match against Al Sadd.

“We know that facing Al Sadd will be difficult because they are a very distinguished team that is at the top of the league standings. They have players of high quality and experience, but despite that we are looking forward to achieving a positive result and we must give everything we have in order to get the result that we are looking forward to.

“We must exploit the opportunities during the match and are required to achieve more progress in this aspect. In our last match against Umm Salal, we had many opportunities that we did not exploit properly and we must control the final touch because we are already succeeding in creating opportunities and this aspect are very important, but the most important thing is that we finish in the right way in order to achieve the desired results.

“Qatar SC developed well during the break in terms of the physical, technical and tactical aspects, and I hope the results in the upcoming matches will be a reflection of that development,” said Sousa.

Qatar SC player Ben Malango said, “Facing Al Sadd will be difficult for both teams, as each team is looking to come out with three points.

“We have to play collectively against Al Sadd and are required to give everything we can in this match because it is very difficult against the league leaders.

“We must present a good image for Qatar SC, represent the club in the best way and play to win and come away with three points.”
