Al Gharafa face Al Shamal in Round 5 (Group B) of the 2023-2024 season Ooredoo Cup at the Al Khor Stadium on Sunday, November 19, 2023. The kick-off is at 5.30pm.

The circumstances of the two teams are almost same as Al Gharafa occupy fourth place in the group table with one point from two defeats and a draw, while Al Shamal are last with no point after losing all of their three matches played so far.

Al Shamal lost 0-2 to Al Rayyan in Round 4, where Al Gharafa were not in action.

Al Duhail are leading Group B with nine points, followed by Al Markhiya (seven points) and Al Rayyan (six points) in that order.

Meanwhile, Al Gharafa are doing well in the 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League, where they are placed second behind champions Al Sadd. Both sides have same number of points (19), but Al Sadd are placed ahead on better goal difference.

Al Shamal are ninth in the league table with six points.
