Al Sadd coach Bruno Miguel spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 8 match against Al Markhiya.

“A difficult match awaits us. Al Markhiya are a very organized team in defence and it will be difficult to overcome them. We need to find solutions to pass the ball and create opportunities.

“We have a lot of pressure for the matches, but we are trying to deal with the current situation. We are making some substitutions earlier than usual to keep our players in good condition to play the next match.

“For us, the most important match is always the next match. We will try to win this match first and then think about the next match.

“We work in a big club like Al Sadd, so we need to win all matches. There is no room for draws or defeats. We need to be at the top and this is where we will definitely be,” said Bruno Miguel.

Al Sadd player Mustafa Tariq said, “We are now at the top of the league championship and we seek to continue the victories the team has achieved of late to remain at the top.

“We prepared well for the match in order to achieve victory. I am happy with what I am currently doing with the team and I seek to improve from one match to another. My goal is to win all championships with Al Sadd.

“I thank Al Sadd fans for their great support and we hope that they will continue their support in the upcoming domestic and Asian matches.”
