19:15 kick-off at Khalifa International Stadium

Al Ahli face Al Rayyan in Week 5 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 19:15 at the Khalifa International Stadium on Saturday, 2nd October, 2021.

Both teams are yet to register a victory so far this season, so they are sure to put up a strong fight.

Al Ahli are seventh with three points which they bagged from their goalless draws against Qatar SC in Week 1, Umm Salal in Week 3 and Al Wakrah in Week 4.

The Brigadiers, coached by Montenegrin coach Nebojsa Jovovic, had lost 0-1 to Al Gharafa in Week 2.

Al Ahli boast of Marko Jevtovic, Nasser Khalfan, Saleh Al Yazidi, Sofiane Bouftini, Hussein Kanaani, Patrick Eze and Abdulrasheed Umaru.

Al Rayyan drew 2-2 with Umm Salal, 1-1 with Al Wakrah and 2-2 with Al Khor, while The Lions lost 2-4 to reigning champions Al Sadd in the Qatar Clasico to be placed eighth with three points.

Frenchman Laurent Blanc hopes their new recruits, Colombian star James Rodriguez and French player Steven Nzonzi will join the squad to support the likes of Yacine Brahimi and Yohan Boli.
