Umm Salal face Al Shamal in Week 5 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 16:35 at the Khalifa International Stadium on Saturday, 2nd October, 2021.

Umm Salal are sixth with three points, having drawn three of their games (2-2 with Al Rayyan, 1-1 with Al Khor and 1-1 with Al Ahli).

The Orange Fortress, coached by Brazilian Sergio Farias, lost 0-1 to Al Gharafa in the last round and it is time they pulled up their socks to avoid being in the danger zone.

Umm Salal have the likes of Yassin Al Bakhit, Ali Ferydoon, Aymen Hussein, Ayman Abdennour and Moses Orkuma.

Al Shamal, who returned to the First Division after six seasons, defeated Qatar SC 2-1 in Week 3, but lost 0-2 to Al Gharafa, 2-3 to Al Sailiya and 2-7 to defending champions Al Sadd.

Hisham Jadrane and his wards will be eager to put behind the disappointment of suffering a big defeat at the hands of Al Sadd and get their campaign beack on track.

Al Shamal include players such as Iraqi Amjad Atwan, Jordanian Bahaa Faisal, Abdulaziz Metwaly and Nasser Al Nasr, while Ali Awad is doubtful due to his injury.
