Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 20 match against Al Wakrah.

“All players are fully prepared for the match. After the end of Amir Cup semifinal, during which the team performed more than wonderfully, we have to take advantage of this result to achieve the required result against Al Wakrah in the league.

“Pressure is always there in all matches and this is a decisive match. I asked the players to show the spirit of victory and enthusiasm in order to make the fans happy.

“All players are fully prepared for the game and we will assess the readiness of Mohammed Badr Sayyar, who attended the last two training sessions,” said Younes.

Al Arabi player Abdullah Al Sulaiti said, “The team is competing for two championships this season and deserved to reach the final of prestigious Amir Cup.

“We always have great confidence in any player who will be chosen by the coach for the match and we are able to come out with a positive result from the difficult game against Al Wakrah.

“Certainly, Al Arabi fans have a great role in the results that the team achieved this season and I expect more support, especially with the season coming to an end.”
