Umm Salal coach Patrice Carteron spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 10 match against Al Rayyan.

“I do not want my players to enter the match under any pressure. We have to give our best, but without burdening ourselves with extra pressure because of what happened previously.

“Umm Salal will approach the match with a spirit of challenge and determination. The team is capable of performing strongly if it maintains its focus and team spirit.

“We have worked as one team with high spirit and this has made us stronger and more organized. I am confident that our performance is improving and the players are ready to deliver a good performance against Al Rayyan,” said Carteron.

Umm Salal player Abdulrahman Fayez said, “The team is preparing intensely for its upcoming match against Al Rayyan, the goal is clear: to secure the three points and quickly return to winning ways.
