Al Rayyan NextGen coach Fabio Cesar spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Jetour League Week 3 match against Al Markhiya.

“We have not been able to win our first two matches, which is unacceptable, but we have been working on addressing our mistakes in recent training sessions. The Next Generation League is a learning and development opportunity, but it also demands positive results to boost the players' confidence.

“Al Markhiya are a strong team with good players, but we have thoroughly studied our opponents and devised the appropriate plan for this match. I have complete faith in all players to enter the game with a genuine desire to secure the three points,” said Fabio Cesar.

Al Rayyan NextGen player Ali Al Qahtani said, “The players are determined to give our best and return with a positive result, everyone is working together to deliver a strong performance.

“We all know that the start was not as we hoped after the lack of success in the last two rounds, but we have turned the page on the previous matches and focused entirely on preparing for the Al Markhiya match.”
