Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 6 match against Qatar SC.

“The current phase requires everyone to pull together. We must help the players overcome the frustration they are experiencing following a series of consecutive defeats and work on restoring their confidence and focus so we can get back on the right track and achieve the desired results.

“The encounter with Qatar SC will not be easy as the opponents possess a squad of players with high technical ability. The current circumstances surrounding Qatar SC, or their recent results, do not necessarily reflect their true strength,” said Mirghani.

Al Sailiya player Ahmed Moein said, “The team is fully aware that the results from the first five rounds of the league have fallen short of our ambitions and expectations. The players are determined to give their best in the upcoming matches, aiming to make amends for past setbacks and correct the errors that have negatively impacted the team’s performance recently.”
