Al Shamal coach Hisham Zahid spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 19 match against Al Khor.

“A very important match awaits us against Al Khor, one of our direct competitors in the standings.

“Of course, the game will be difficult in view of the two teams' desire to win the three points and stay away from the danger zone in the league table.

“We are ready for the match in all respects, whether technical or physical, as well as psychological, after the tremendous support we received from the current and former Al Shamal club management and the old stars of the club, who made our players enthusiastic.

“Al Shamal players are ready to pay back the unlimited support, which gave them a huge morale-booster that we hope to capitalize on in the next match,” said Hisham.

Al Shamal player Amjad Atwan said, “The Al Khor match is very important for us in view of the strong competition to escape the relegation.

“We are determined to achieve a positive result and collect the three points in order to move to the safe zone in the table.
