Al Shahania coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 6 match against Al Arabi.

“It is difficult facing Al Arabi, a well-organized side with significant experience and players capable of making a decisive impact. Our focus remains on our own performance and style of play on the pitch.

“My prior familiarity with Al Arabi is a positive factor even though they have since brought in new players and technical staff. I have confidence in the potential of my players and their ambition to deliver a performance that truly reflects their capabilities,” said Younes.

Al Shahania player Mohammed Alaaeldin said, “The match will not be easy against a strong opponent that consistently strives for victory, even under challenging circumstances.

“The match is an important opportunity for both sides, with Al Shahania aiming to capitalize on it to secure a positive result and improve standing in the league table.”
