Al Arabi assistant coach Dumitru Russo spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 2 match against Al Duhail.

“The coaching staff had used the past few days intensively to evaluate the team’s performance in the first round and identify the details that prevented us from securing a victory.

“The Al Duhail match leaves no room for half-measures and demands complete mental and tactical focus for the full 90 minutes. The draw in the opening match has given the team added motivation to make amends,” said Dumitru Russo.
