Al Gharafa coach Pedro Martins spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 6 match against Al Rayyan.

“Their backing has been wonderful, right up until the final minutes of every game. I know that they, just like us, are eager to see a change in our current situation.

“For our part, we will do everything in our power to make that happen.

“As you know, no one is happy after a defeat, we, in particular, are not accustomed to such results, but I have great faith in my players. Everyone is striving to improve the performances we have shown so far, “ said Martins.

Al Gharafa player Seydou Sano said, “Our preparations have gone well and we have readied ourselves for the encounter as required. Our goal is to secure a win; it is a very important match for us, a chance to regain our balance and make a fresh start, God-willing.”
