Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 5 match against Al Duhail.

“A difficult match against difficult opponents who have regained their level after the first two rounds and are constantly improving, but the players are fully prepared for the match and we hope to win and achieve the three points.

“Big matches are easier on the psychological level of the coach because the players are fully prepared and motivated to give off their best and appear well, especially since all eyes will be on such matches and all players wish to play in such matches.

“The importance of the match for us lies in the three points, which will swell our tally.

“All matches are difficult and Al Duhail are a distinguished team that presented strong levels in the past seasons, and have much depth in squad. The match will be difficult for both teams and we go into it to get the three points,” said Younes.

Al Arabi player Omar Al Somah said, “Al Duhail are a strong team and fierce competitors, but we always see every match as difficult and there is no easy game. We always strive to win and the team is improving after every match.

“The atmosphere was positive from my first day at the club. The players quickly brought me into the group atmosphere. I felt at home and things are going well. I am happy with the support I got since coming to Doha and this is a strong motivation to give off my best and make the fans happy by scoring.”
